KL Clamp

Note: The metal wire rope is sold separately in reels.

The system, consisting of steel wire ropes and a locking device, is designed to provide installers with the flexibility to adjust the required drop lengths on site for both light-duty and heavy-duty installations.

The devices are used to anchor the wire rope to the ceiling or to a structural anchorage point, as well as to secure the wire rope to the desired fixture or fitting.

The wire rope suspension system is suitable, for example, for the following installations:

  • Seismic bracing

  • Electrical containment

  • Lighting and audio systems

  • HVAC and mechanical services

  • Catenary systems

 

Installation

  1. Feed the wire rope through the KL clamp in the direction of the arrow.

  2. Loop the wire rope through or around the anchorage point.

  3. Pass the wire rope back through the clamp, leaving approximately 15 cm of free tail.

  4. Apply tension.

  5. Always verify proper engagement of the device on the wire rope by pushing the release pin in the opposite direction of the arrows indicated on the side of the device.

 

Technical Data

Each system includes a specific wire rope diameter and is supplied with the required zip-clip locking device.

The stated loads refer to a single wire rope support when used in combination with the appropriate locking device.
