Pull-out tests and verification of anchors

In the installation of electrical and HVAC systems, the safety of support systems is a critical factor. For this reason, Prosystem provides a highly specialized technical service dedicated to pull-out testing and performance verification of anchors, carried out directly on-site using real materials and configurations.

Thanks to certified equipment—such as Hydrajaws M2050 Bluetooth digital pull testers, with a capacity of up to 50 kN—Prosystem’s technical team can accurately measure the performance of installed anchors, assessing both the anchoring strength and the behavior of the base material (hollow concrete blocks, concrete, brick, and other substrates).

Tests are conducted in accordance with design parameters and current regulations, such as NTC 2018, defining target tensile values to be achieved without material failure or pull-out phenomena.

This approach makes it possible to validate installation choices directly on-site and verify the correct compatibility between anchors, substrates, and expected loads.

A technical service that adds value for designers and contractors

The tests carried out by Prosystem offer several advantages for professionals in the plant engineering and metal structures sectors:

  • Certified reliability: confirmation of the actual performance of installed anchors, supported by dedicated technical documentation
  • Risk reduction: preventive verification of substrate behavior, particularly useful for sensitive materials such as hollow blocks, lightweight walls, or heterogeneous structures
  • Design optimization: validation or adjustment of expected load values, based on real on-site data
  • Direct support for designers: verified data to validate support system solutions for electrical and HVAC installations in compliance with regulations
  • Integrated consultancy: support in anchor selection, installation guidance, and access to technical documentation

Expertise, method, and tools serving quality

Each test is carried out by qualified technical personnel, following specific procedures, using calibrated instruments, and producing detailed reports that include tensile values, substrate conditions, and verified results. With this approach, a simple test becomes a concrete quality control tool, essential to ensuring the safety and durability of installations.

Prosystem thus offers not only products, but technical solutions backed by real-world verification—supporting designers, installers, and contractors at every stage of the project, ensuring reliability and safety.
